Sam Barrott has been appointed referee for the 2026 FA Community Shield between Manchester City and Arsenal.
Barrott will lead the teams out at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Sunday 16 August, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm. The traditional curtain-raiser to the new English season will see FA Cup winners Manchester City face Premier League champions Arsenal.
